Transmissions that mate to a 300ci 6 cyl on '83 Bronc?
Hi all,
I own an '83 Bronco 4x4, with a 300ci straight six and 3-speed overdrive manual trans. Recently, the trans has finally given out. I'd like to replace the trans with something a little beefier - possibly an F-150 4 or 5 speed. My question is:
What manual trans. will bolt up to my 300ci six, and still be able to use the same driveshaft, etc. Maybe an F-150 job? I'd be willing to get a different size driveshaft if needed. Any info is appreciated - thanks.
