I have a set of 35x12.5 on my truck, and they just barely rub. My buddy had the same size on his 88 Bronco and they didnt hit as i recall. I would check to see if they have been rubbing. Look for a rub mark (black line) on the radius arms. A little rubbing is ok, as long as you turn the wheel back as soon as you hear it.

Adam-did you fit 35's on your truck with no lift? or did you have a body or suspension lift?
just wondering--you see i have 33's right now, with a 2" body lift. it would be nice if the 35's would fit, without any more mods.....
I got a 4 inch suspension lift under my truck, and the tires clear the back, of the front fenders, by about 2 inches (that measurement is with the wheel all the way cranked). In the rear (rear axle) I have no clearance problems what so ever, and neither should you.
You may not be able to clear the front fenders with just a 2 inch body lift, I know when I first got the tires, I was nervous about them fitting.
You may want to borrow a 35 in tire from a buddy, or buy one that you can return, and mock it up under your truck. Just remove the wheel that is on the truck now, and place the tire in the wheel well. Turn the tire like it was bolted to axle and see if it will rub on the lower part of the fenders. This clearance didn't phase me until I had already bought the tires, and then mocked them up under my truck. I was more concerned about the tire rubbing on the top of the fender or on the radius arms.
If the tire does hit you maybe able to get a set of Bushwacker cut-out fender flares, to give you a bit more clearance in the wheel well. If hacking up the body panels is not the way you want to go, you got to jack the body up more.
