Well I was working as an underground diesel mechanic here at the Zinc mines, but they shut down now. I figured it was coming, they could only take it for so long with prices in the mid 50 cents/lb range. Now i'm back to work at my old job, as a welder fabricator.

I am a Fitness Coordinator at a Naval Base. I put the military through their morning PT and then personal train at night at the base. Great job, just sucks a little bit because i am only 19 and a lot of the guys in the navy are older then me, so here i am telling them what to do, they don't think they have to listen to me. It's not me being a D*ck either, i'm just doing my job. Then the personal training part of it kind of sucks to because i don't get paid per session, i'm on salary which i guess has it's ups and it's downs.

any job can be challenging but if you don't look at it like a job. if you like what you do have some fun with it. all i'm saying is look at it a different way. hey it could be worse you could be servicing porta potties!! now that job sucks...
just don't lose your focus!! jobs are harder to get and make the best of it.

Yeah Jack, def. great advice. I do tend to lose my focus sometimes when i just get so fed up with things, but i'm fortunate enough to have many people to kick my butt and get me back on the right track with school and everything. It's really not work that i ever get off track of, it's more school that sometimes i just feel like saying, alright i'm done.

Im an RN, I work in a critical access hospital in upstate NY. I do alot of inpatient and ER work. Its great!! Great pay, great hours, never have to worry about a job. Nurses are in very high demand, Male nurses with ER experience even higher... liking your job is 1/2 the battle, getting paid a decent wage for what you do is the other half. I only have to work 14 days a month, I always get every other weekend off and take home $5000/month. I have only been at it a year so as my experience grows so will my paycheck... dosn't get much better!!

I am a Fireman in the US Coast Guard. Its lots of fun most of the time. You learn a lot, and a lot of my wrenching on trucks and motorcycles over the years really helps at work. Looks good to be able to show your bosses stuff!
