i see the military ads on career builder all the time looking people. but they want you to enlist. i'm alittle to old to renlist. i would like to go work with them. like in the transportation depot. as a civilian. i have the tools and the knowledge. but i don't know what channels to go thru to get the app. man i'd jump on that in a heartbeat. if you know? do tell....

You need to get in contact with BAE systems. They are HURTING for people with your experience. When I went to Iraq as a contractor, I made $220k in a year. Guys with BAE were clearing just over $190k.

United States - BAE Systems

They are the premier army ground vehicle maintenance contractor. You more than likely will have to move or relocate for awhile but the pay and benefits are incredible.

thanx man,
i will check it out! i was talking to my wife about it! and she said go for it if you can.
here in oregon they have a national guard unit at PDX out in portland. they're allways
launching f-18's out of there all the time to go to irack. my son is going over for tour #3
i know the pay and all is great but getting on is hard. and i don't mind going away for awhile for training and whatnot that doesn't bother me. i did it for werner! i relocated for my wife and she helped! furniture, tools, race car and all and drove 1700 miles!
i love what i do for a living and i've been doing it for almost 30 years. and i want to stay in this field.
i'm jack and its good to meet you.

Here's another, it's the company I work for. They have vehicle maintenance contracts also...

DynCorp International — Aviation, Contingency, Logistics, Law Enforcement & Security, Infrastructure, and Maritime

You'll have to look in the listings for the vehicle jobs but if you call them they can hook you up.

BTW: No problem, if you want some more companies to look at just let me know. I'm Jesse.
