radius arm removal
Not really a tip as such, when I did my 79 pick-up, I put the truck up on stands, used two floor jacks under the axle, removed the front springs, unbolted the "C" clamps, pulled the axle forward, installed the "C" bushings and radius arm bushings, pushed the axle back into place, installed the springs and track bar, put some weight on the suspension and tightened everything to spec., had removed the shocks and track bar previous to doing this! It did work out easier than I thought it would. Took two of us a couple of hours to complete it this way. Hope this helps!
PS-Make sure to check all bolt/nuts after a few miles to make sure everything is still tight!
