I still can't believe its going to be in Simpsonville (Simpleville for us locals)...only 7-10 mins from the house!

 

I might have to check it out, I always wanted to look at those up close. Going up in one is a different story tho.

 

I went to it when it was at Donaldson Center.
They had some purty good airshowes and some good intertainment.
It's beel a while since I have been to it.

 

I live in Simpsonville and Heritage Park isn't near as big as the Donaldson Center or where it was in Anderson. I really don't know how they are going to pull it off but more power to them. Hope to see yall there.

I am thinking that Country Earl had a resturant near there, do you know if it is still open?
Maybe I don't even know where heritage park is!

 

I think CE has changed ownership. But thats over by the Golden Park...Mauldin.

Heritage Park is a few miles up from the "Muffler shaped" guy on side of the road (in a previous thread) between Simpsonville/Fountain Inn.

 

From what dad says... (works @ Lockheed Martin) the alloted space and the things on the grounds (near Lockheed) the festival would have lost some "important" room...

I think the move to Anderson wasn't as big as many would hope (numbers). I think they are hoping a different venue would help?

 

I'm not sure if i'll make it yet but i'm gonna try. It would be cool to meet some SC FTE'rs.

 

The first volley of balloons took flight this morning at 7...

Free admission....5-bux to park. They also have a "free" stage and the stage for the premium shows....

 

Two days gone... two days remaining ... any reports? I can see the Hot Air Balloons from our yard... otherwise my visit may wait till Sun. or Monday...

 

Don't think i'm gonna make it, The better half is working most of the weekend so i'm holding down the fort.......And working on my Romy build!
