I just purchased a 1995 Ranger Splash and it needs an auto tranny. It has a 4.0 cid engine and is 2 wheel drive. I can find all kinds of tranny's for 4X4 but none for a 4X2. If anyone can help me out please PM me. The body of this truck is in beautiful shape so its worth putting a few bucks into.

Why can't you just switch the output on the new one with the old one....?

 

find an aerostar they should have the same a4ld tranny.

 

if it has the 3.0 change the bellhousing the front pump goes with the bellhousing make shure it is good.

 

Thanks for all the help guys. The truck is a thing of the past. It was going to cost more to repair it that it was worth so I got rid of it.
