question about bronco bumpers

There is no need to replace your bumpers. If all you are doing is a suspension lift. I am in the process of going to a 6" lift on my 83 Bronco and after removing the old front springs, I noticed that the shock pads were worn out. The dealer does not have them instock and it will take two weeks to get new ones. Instead I am using an old tire and cutting my own shock pads. Hey what the heck, I they can last 50 to 60 thousand on the road, they should last at least that much more off the road.
