i just like the look of 5% and not being able to see inside very easily. as for the night driving...it takes some getting used to and an occasional roll down of the window but it all just takes some getting used too. as for the 35% some states dont even allow that on the entire window
The best way I can explain it is like sunglasses. You can see out of them well, but nobody can see your eyes.
I have 5% in the back window and the reall differences were that the cab was darker during the day and I had more privacy. I can't even notice the tint at night, its almost like its not there. The differences are only noticeable when the sun is out. It might be different though because of the tinting I have. I did a lot of research before I got it and I believe the brand was Lumar. It is the best stuff you can buy.
I think california law says that front windows have to be 95% transparent. Seriously dumb, but anybody that spends the money to tint those windows go darker.
Well,
Get my windows done tomorrow AM, hopefully they will match inside and out, just pondering whether to go with the 20 or 35% film. Think they are using Sun-Gard brand tint.
Any last minute thoughts would be helpful.
When you had your front windows tinted, did that tint the entire window or is there a portion at the top of the window that is not tinted because it rolls up into the top portion of the door frame? Are you using tinting film or spray? Curious as I'm looking to have my screw tinted in the front to match the back privacy glass.
