I have had my truck for a while now and am very un happy about the performance... with having the 4.6 L engine it is very slow and accelerates very slow... i was wondering how to make it faster without voiding the warranty... any help will be awesome

A programmer and lower gears are the best way.

 

not to sound stupid but i am kinda new to all this so specific products and maybe links would be very helpful... i have only been driving for about 2 years now so now very knowledgable on engines

 

Not gonna happen. If you want the warranty intact,then deal with the speed and power. if not,then there are several things that can be done. You can change rear gears to make it accelerate quicker without voiding the warranty,but the speedo wil be off and the speed limiter will be lower. To fix this,you'll have to reflash the PCM with the programmer of your choice,and that'll void your warranty.

guy you bought a truck not a rice burner...shoulda bought the honda like your friends.that 4.6 is made to haul stuff not race people..ohh and the 5.4 woulda been a better choice!
