Get a set of decent shocks on there -- lots of the Ford guys like the Bilsteins, but I've had 'em on a lot of trucks, and race cars for that matter, and they are great if kept in their specific function -- kind of middle of the road: if you have no wieght, they're rough, if you have a lot of wieght, they're mush, in the middle and they're great! My Rancho's (1st set I've tried) are just perfect for when we're empty (75% of the time) and when were fully loaded -- you just turn the ****!
Gotta' go -- wife says it's time for bed

found 2 grease fitting on the front axle hub joints. Woohoo!! heh.. only 2 I could find. Im thinking of just getting some steel wheels and slapping some 35x12.5x16 or 17 inch tires on them for playing in the snow and dirt. Problem is, like desiel said, the load ratings are very hit and miss. I could find only a couple of tire sizes with the same ratings, and alot that were below. I'm not gonna mess with jacking it up either. Just too much can go wrong, and its apparent that front camber adjustments are critical on this truck (its only got 1 deg leeway). Ive seen where you can hack on the radius arms (superlift), or use drop brackets that take away from ground clearance (whats the point?), to complete replacement of the radius arms.. so, Im gonna save a few grand, and just be happy with what Ive got. I may put on some traction bars if I feel Ive got any wheel wrap going on, but for now, a guy can dream cant he? heh.
