I don't have the power to make a Northern and Southern IL chapter. If I did it would be a great thing for all and I could make everyone happy. But I don't however I have been thinking of haveing a meeting in Decatur, IL that is pretty well in the middle of the state. The only thing is that is a 3 hour drive for me that I dont mind making at all I just need to know that people will show up. If you have by chance read the posts on the past meetings the April meeting had the best turn out so far with 6 people. The past was 1-2 other then myself. If we can get a group willing to do this I do know some good places to go in Decatur.
Or what about this lets start posting your ideas for a town that we can all agree on that wont be a day long of driveing for anyone? and I will be willing to do a meeting there once in awhile say every so many months or what ever we all agree on.
Just trying to make it easy on all that want to make a meeting happen in thier area.

I have mentioned my place in Mazon. For those coming from the south it would be 30-45 minutes less each way and for the Rockford area guys it should only add 5-10 minutes. But, since there will be a "meeting" next week, I guess we can discuss it. Any southerners want to chime in?

lindy and gertie's also has a place in Morris, for whatever good it does. There are also places in Seneca, kinsman, verona, and marseilles that will let us meet there and, the towns areso small, we can take them over with our big bad beasts and dominate their very existance. We could RULE THE WORLD in a Ford pickemuptruck! Hell yeah!! What about the on the river idea? My boat will only do 40 and won't keep up with scot and them, but what we lack in speed, we can make up for in brewhaha consumpsion.

Well at 40 you can make the same mistake as me at 86mph. Just remember to tell her opps wrong topic LOL any how I think a on the water brew fest maybe in order. The month of June Bob ( Toyota Hauler ) will be watching over things for me as I will be in several states other then IL on big Baja Outlaw runs. First week IA on the Mississippi River, 2nd week WI, 3rd and 4th MI on Lake St. Clair and the Big Lakes.

I think Mazon or any of the towns Dan (Dmueller) metioned would be fine.
I think that is what we need to do, firm up a location for June.
Let's try to post a weekend all can make it to that area.
I would prefer to have it on June 17th(Sunday) or the following 24th

I'm pretty much gone for the whole month of june also. Man, everyone wonders why summer seems to fly by. Graduation parties, fishing trips, mowing the lawn...
Anyway, so I probably won't be able to make the June meeting anyway. But I'm open for July. And so far as things to do, I don;t know how many of you guys like to shoot. But I have the space to do some skeet shooting, and other target shooting. Pistols or whatever. Just another thought.
