We are planning the Truck Show!

No, I had to rush to Elkins.
Big hurry to start the hotel there, plus a couple lots have already been sold, so we needed to get them ready ASAP or quicker.
Built the hotel pad in three days last week, the architect was in from Atlanta today and decided we need to drop the pad three feet and make it 100 feet longer in both directions.
So now we have about 28,000 yards of material to move yesterday.
I love my job.

Morgantown to Pipestem
Crazy, Mannington is near Morgantown. Hop on 79, down to 19 (2.0 hrs), then 77 down to exit 14 (1.0 hrs), turn left, go to end, turn left, Pipstem is 20 miuntes from there (1.0). From Morgantown, with a heavy foot, maybe 3.5 hours. I can run from Beckley to Morgantown on about 2.5 hours but that is movong down the highway.
Watch Summersville, Fayetteville, Oak Hill and Mt Hope. There is 20 miles of nothing but pure speed trap. If it says 50, do it or spend $180.00.

Cool! I was hoping to see a couple of classics show up!
Yes, we still have spots available. I've attached the registration form below. Cut, paste and e-mail it back to me.
See you in Sept!

As of right now, I plan on being there.
Have to check the work schedule as we get closer the September before I can say for sure.
Don't think my truck is up to being in the show though.
Recent hit on the left front from an out of state driver, they went away in much worse shape than I did though.
Well over 300,000 miles on the clock.
But it does what I need it to do in fine fashion.
1986 regular cab with a 9 foot dump.

Yes,
Let me give you some waypoints to be familiar with. You'll head towards Hinton and pass the Pipestem State Park, at this point you're close. Keep driving until you come to the Pipestem Campground (it's the old KOA Campground). Slow down, you're almost there. The very next right is Broadway Road. You'll see the Cooks Chapel on the corner. Once you make the right on Broadway, the Ruritan Club is about half a mile up the road on the left, again you'll see a sign and the Registration Table.
The cost will be $15 and I encourage you to bring lawn chairs and a canopy if you have one.
We look forward to seeing you and your truck!

Joe:
Since it is near Pipestem, I believe that even though it will add a few miles, I will go down to Exit 14 and come up through Athens. Hinton is beautiful, the mountains are great, but my medical condition prohibits me from doing a lot of twisting turning driving. I will be coming from Charleston.

Once you get off at exit 14, you'll follow the road towards Athens...it'll come to a point where you have to make a left or right. Make the left towards Athens. You'll go through Athens and Lerona. Once you get through Lerona, you want to be looking for the Pipestem Campground on the left. Once you pass the campground you're real close. The next right will be Broadway Road, turn right and the Ruritan will be about a half mile up the road on the left.
The registration will be $15 and I recommend you bring a chair or two and a canopy if you have one. See you there Pal!
