The vacuum diagram is a rare commodity. Sometimes Chilton's will have a fair representation listed but that's about it. As for the vacuum portions of the EEC-IV and Thermactor system, this should be shown in the decal/diagram under the hood. Are you dealing with a completely disassembled vacuum system or just a portion of it?

There is a canister purge solenoid. Typical location is immediately to the left of the throttle body (looking at the engine bay from the front of the truck). It will have a two-wire connector and a small cylindrical body and be either clipped or tie-wrapped in place against the wiring harness. Earlier models may be mounted closer to the canister but locating it should only require following the vacuum line from the canister back towards the intake. This thread has a good picture of the solenoid.
