ok I saw you already know about the dorman products you posted in the superduty section. that link to the pedal assembly on the diesel site is one of the best prices you will find. What year is your truck?
here is a link to what the Powerstrokeshop.com has
http://catalog.powerstrokeshop.com/p...&subcat2=86776
sometimes you can find them used for around $75-100. I just bought one last night as a spare for $75.

TPS issues
Hey TJ,
Thanks for the reply. I have a 1997 crewcab diesel 4wd. I was having trouble getting in touch with a retail dealer for dorman but I think I am on the right track now. Have you purchased the dorman pedal assembly? Does it include the TPS and the idle validation switch? They are both giving me fits. Once I get that replaced, I will be trying to figure out how long the messed up turbo will last before it explodes. Thanks for the help.

no I have not bought the Dorman product. I just bought a used pedal from another powerstroker. if you have turbo needs you should talk to this guy
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...9058515&rd=1,1
he has everything you might need. One word of advice though. Don't let it explode. rebuild it before it does any damage to the housings. Mine let go and though they are rebuildable units mine was run for about 3 miles after it went bad and it was too far gone to even be worth rebuilding. I needed a rebuild kit, wheel, intake housing and intake housing base plate. All equal to a completely rebuilt unit from Ron. That was doing all labor myself. These turbo's are exxtremely easy to rebuild.
