Hi I am looking for a C-6 trans that would fit my 1967 F-100 4x4.Just need it to be rebuildable. I am in Coeurdalene,ID.

Check Craigslist in your area. I know there seems to be a couple C6's that pop up on the Boise list every week.

I've got one that was rebuilt in '03. Only has a couple thousand miles on it since. Boise area. you buy the truck and the tranny comes with

I just pulled a good working C6 out of my truck, but it was behind a 460 and I'm pretty sure it wont bolt to a 390.

You're right, it won't work. It would work for a 351m/400/429/460, however.

1965/67 F100/350 = 352 only V8 offered. Cruise-O-Matic (MX) only automatic transmission offered.

First year for F100/350 360/390 engines = 1968.

First year the C6 was offered in F100/350 = 1968.
