Hi all, My name is Clint Wilcox and I am the Chapter Leader for the Northern California Chapter. Some of our Chapter members will be attending the Hot August Nights spectacle in Reno (August 3-12). See www.hotaugustnights.com

Myself and a few others will be at the Bonneville Salt Flats for Speed Week (August 11-17). The Salt Flats are near Wendover, about 90 minutes west of Salt Lake. There will be members of other chapters joining us. We even have one Australian FTE member joining us on the Salt.

With both events some members will be camping out while other members will be staying in motels. Campers, Motor Homes, tents, or just a sleeping bag in the back of a pickup work for us.

We are an informal bunch and would enjoy company from other FTE Chapters. We can also make it a joint meeting if you want.

Is there any interest in attending either event?

 

Shoot......I was at the very first H.A.N and every one after that until 2003. I was born and raised in Reno. Seriously though, I was planning on coming to Reno this year for H.A.N but I'm starting a new job week after next so I'm giving up my vacation at my old job. Now I have to wait for a whole year again.........crap!

 

Sounds like a lot of fun... I'm working two jobs right now to pay for my new (to me) motorcycle, and I definetly won't have any vacation time built up. Thanks for the invite Clint, hopefully some of our High Plains members can make it down there to represent.
