Engine Swap in my 51
As I promised, here is a little slide show of my engine swap. I'm not in many pictures, as I was the only one there most of the time. I also kept forgetting to take pictures at crucial points, but you get the picture.
I also took the opportunity to install some A/C and remote the battery while I was at it.

It then kinda follows over top of the tranny on the passenger side, loops around the tail shaft and into the speedo gear. It's a long way around, but the cable was long and it keeps it in a pretty gentle arc.
