check out what i got!

at work today, i was driving up 313 in dublin and i saw a roll bar for sale on someones lawn. no price on it, but i got the number. called, no answer. so after work i showed up and talked to the guy. i asked what he wanted, he told me to make an offer. now in the back of my head, i know i was lookin at these new for like 500-800 bucks. so i said $50 bucks. he said $75. deal. got me a decent roll bar for $75 bucks!!!! cant beat that with a stick!

There's nothing better than a deal you can't beat with a stick! I just drug home a tranny, driveshafts, and fan shroud for my Jeep for 200. The last trans (t176) I saw go on ebay went for over 300 alone! Had to stuff it all in the escort since the truck is at it's other home right now (Ford dealer).

The bar looks good. My wife and kids want me to put bars on mine.

I'm looking for an automatic transmission for a 3.0 Vulcan V6 Tempo. Maybe get a stupendous deal like "one" did on that bar.

yeah, the bar is actually kinda beat up. the top horizontal bar is bent in (towards the bed) and the front feet are gonna have to be shimmed up so the sides dont hit the bed. im gonna have to cut my bedliner a little to make it fit as well. i gotta get some daylighters up top too!

but in the end, if i end up not doing it cause its too much work, ill jsut sell the bar. it was waaaaay too good of a deal to just pass up.
