2006 F150 Tire Size Question

Hello everyone,

I posted in the HD section of the forum with 39 views and 0 responses and I need input ASAP. My dad drives a 2006 HD F150. Currently, he has the 22" wheels and the 275/50/R22 tires (PZero), but we want to get a more aggressive tire. I saw last night that Nitto makes a 285/50/R22 in the Terra Grappler. My brother has those and I like them a lot.

Does anyone think that those size tires will fit on the 2006 HD F150 2x4? Any input would be great! I need some comments soon. On the other forum, no one will reply.

Thanks everyone!

DN

I have a 1998 f-150 and a 2006 f-150 on the 98 I am running 305/45/r22 with no problem except when I try to U-turn they rub a little... As far as on the 06 it is stock so I can't really help with that situation, just wanted to let you know I am running a tire size like that with no problem

Is your 98 a 2x4? I am just surprised that no one has anything to comment on. Do people think that they will fit? Should I go with a 2" or 2.5" leveling kit? Suggestions?

Thanks.

Those Nitto's will fit just fine. You're only increasing the overall diameter by 0.39"! That's next to nothing.
