HFCM Drain Plug

I want to get the HFCM drain plug. Any site sponsors I should get it from? Also, any clearance issues with front drive shaft on 4WD? Thanks

Y2K Ford parts probably has them
www.discountfordpartsaty2kford.com/

Or you can just stop by your local IH dealer and buy them over the counter.

I got mine from the dealer, but it took him a while to figure out how to order it. No clearance issues on my '06.

With the 4x4, clearance is close when installing, but it will go. I put mine in from above the drive shaft. Others have said they jacked up the front left corner of the truck to get a little more clearance.

I haven't put mine in yet, by I got mine from my local dealer. I went there with the part number figuring I would have to order it, but to my suprise they had it in stock, $14.85.

# Ford part number: 6E7Z-9C082-A
# International part number: 2589259C91

Is this the knurled **** (http://www.itpdiesel.com/store.php?c...on=show_detail) or the same as the factory original? The price is definitely better. I could not find a pic of the Ford p/n. Thanks, Rex

Swift193,

Yes the Ford part # is for the updated "knurled" **** style, Ford uses this on the LCF truck series.

Hope this helps

Wink

Clearance isn't an issue with this. Here is a pic of it installed. I got mine from my local IH (Navistar) dealer part #2589259C91, $18.47 w/ Tx.
