Unhappy 1997 Eddie Bauer

1997 Eddie Bauer AWD, V-8 5.0 liter, Automatic, 130,000 miles

Tires, rotors, and brakes all good

I am having a problem with a vibration in the front end as I let off the gas at 60-70 miles per hour. The vibration last about 2 to 3 seconds and then goes away. It happens everytime the cruise control slows down too. The problem started after my front driveshaft CV joint failed. I replaced the front driveshaft and felt the vibration. I removed the replacement driveshaft and found the CV boot was broke. I returned it to the parts store were they were glad to give me a replacement driveshaft. Although after replacing the driveshaft again I still have the vibration. I have replaced the rear U-joints also just to make sure the vibration was not in the rear. Any help would be appreciated.<O</O

I didn't realize F150's came in Eddie Bauer AWD versions... is there even a F150 AWD out there?

I appreciate your insight. I was hoping that since they are both four-wheel drives that someone here might know an answer. Obviously, you are correct in your assumption, but are still not helpful. I do appreciate your post though and I hope everyone else here does also. By the way, if I post something about my F-150 here feel free to reply with your knowledge.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
