1992 F150 4x4 Ext Cab

Hi guys
I'am new to forum stuff, about a week old. Just found this ON chapter so I think I'll read here from on. I'am buying this 92 ext. cab 4x4 that apparently has a 351 in it. It is a good deal but I haven't got it yet to look under the hood closely. I know nothing about these trucks. Help! What should I expect? Anything to watch for? What kind of milage should I expect? I has 200,000 kms on it but runs smooth.
Thanks

$500..... is the body shot? $500 is a parts truck kind of price, or somebody who wants it gone pretty badly....

This is a company survey truck for mineing. Dealership maintained, a couple of small dents. The only cancer is the pass wheel well about two inches up, under the chrome.
Eddie Bower edition. Interior is clean, only one burn in the seat. Heater fell of his smoke or what ever. The engine was covered with dust so I could not read the stickers and I didn't want to seem to excited. When I figure this forum out I'll post some pics. Right place, right time. But I haven't got it yet!

I bought a 2006 Ford Escape for my wife. It only had 8000 kms on it, still smells new. Anybody have one of these? We are only getting 11.1 litres or 21 mpg. I thought it would be better but it is fun to drive in the winter, haven't got into the mud yet. But I will when it is just me and my boy's.

You may want to click forums at the top left then scroll down to the Escape forum. LOTS of great info for you there.

Sounds like a decent truck for $500. Before you buy it, give the engine a few revs and listen for rod knock as it revs down, I've heard this on a couple 351s.

You don't HAVE to. That is just the websites way of letting you know there have been more responses. If you don't get the email then there haven't been responses.
