It's funny how all the "experts" here now that this truck has not changed at all and know what it looks like with the camo on it. I'll just sit back and laugh at the posts knowing 99% of them are sooooo wrong.

Looking at the pictures, you can see a three bar grill, like on the new Expedition. You can see a "powedome" hood, if you will. And also you can see the excessive curvature in the fenders and side body panels. I know you're just going to laugh but I can see through that camo even with the padding on the bumpers. In my opinion, it just doesn't look right, but GRANTED I don't know what it will look like with it off. So in part, you're right. I can't tell 100% what it's going to look like but I can see the design they are aiming for. In fact, I hope everybody can see the domed hood, the 3 prong grill, the rounding of the body panels, and everything else I can see, including the padding.

They should know what they are doing the want the truck market. They have the truck market but need more, but they should have a Superduty version F-150, and im sure the tow rating will go up. Ford can have a bigger part of the truck market , but why do they lack but, still push the others.

Derek, Is the front grille going to look more like the Expedition, the Super Duty or neither?

I'm going to laugh, too. Why are you being so negative? You can't see much of anything with the padded camo.

Haha it's been one hell of a rough day. Over here on the KS/MO border we're getting hit with rain. Between 5 and 530 it rained so hard about half the back yard flooded sending a lot of that rain into the basement so I'm picking up the water the rest of the night and taking care of this tomorrow instead of going to school.

But either way, I can personally see (in my mind) what it'd look like without the camo. I guess I have a visual mind. Please don't hold that against me lol

Sorry for the negativity today, just been a really rough day and will be until Friday when this rain stops!

I'm laughing with you DearbornDerek. Heck even a few of the things you stated are wrong. I get a even bigger laugh out of all the powertrain speculation that goes on.

will I hope your not trying to go liek the Tundra with a round look, if the grill looks nice, good but is it the right one mabe you could think harder, but think about the current look, why it was always there but lacked, a few. seen the new Tundra commercial they cover the shadow of there old truck, I wonder why, lol is ford lieing when they have the Mike rowe commercial about 11,000 pounds there is a best truck i belive its all ford, but the tundra wishes. its still a Toyota. Ford he real thing. all the truck companys lie but ford dowesint need 2. but still people think they do because they dont plan there commercial, but its to late they never made good commercials, youd have to come out with a 2 hour DVD about ford truck sell it for 5 bucks againt other give a in breaif history, about why ford has had the market, introduce the new f-150 show it in action, have the older F-150s doing the same if they can. wither it is really under thoes cover im sure its pimpin, but whats it gonan do, The DVD woudl be sick 3 hours of F-Series, proven better againt the other trucks but all fair comparsion and why, if thyats ossible it could be right to get a bigger share.

The guys developing these things should buy a couple old beaters from a used car lot and cover them in camo, then they could cruise around town and get thier pictures on the internet to see what the speculators have to say. I'm thinking that something like an AMC Pacer with a Mustang badge barely visible through the camo on the grill should realy get some attention.

First off I said I wanted a bed at least 6ft long a 8 Ft item would be fine with gate down. Nothing was said about a 8 Ft . I would buy one in a minute if they did but I know it won't happen so the old short bed lenght would be nice.
As for the bed options :::
Well first off the dealer said that you can't get anything longer than 5.5 yesterday on crew so where do you get your info?
that's rich

i'm sure some of us might get tired of you not reading stuff that is there, but i digress

i'll post it one more time since all i was trying to do with my first reply was help you out:

the supercrew is already available with a 6.5' bed...if you don't believe me, your loss

Really? No scheiss? Guess what, the dealer is totally WRONG, and if you visit ford.com yourself, there you will see several Super Crews that are available with 6' 5" beds. Two are the Lariat and the FX 4.

Mebbe your dealer said what he said about the 6' 5" beds because he didn't have any to sell. Ever think of that?

the screw is availble with a 6.5 foot bed on every trim level except harley davidson, stx, and xl. you can get it on the xlt, lariat, fx4 or king ranch.

I just drove one two weeks ago before deciding on my 5.5 foot bed.
