Supercharged turbo 7.3

Anybody ever thought about tryin to make an old detroit style setup work on a PSD? I think that would be bad **** to have a supercharged turbo diesel. Any thoughts?

They used superchargers on Detroit engines because of the intake being at the bottom of the cylinder, forced induction. They even had turbos along with the superchargers.

Understood, that was just my reference. Do you think it could be done?

with enough money anything is possible, but impractical, spend the money on better heads, head studs and bigger and/or dual turbos.

Hmmm, thanks for the info. I talked to Tj and we decided that a compound turbo setup would be the best way to go. The time and money I would have to spend on a supercharger kit i could have a darn sweet twin turbo kit.
