How do I install HID head lights on my 1999 Ford Ranger XLT?

I've searched and searched for any kind of clue on how to do this myself but I can't find a thing about this anywhere on the web. I bought some HID head lights that are supposed to be plus and play but when I lift up the hood of my truck, I have no idea how to even open up the headlight hub. How do I open and remove the stock headlights and install the HIDs? Sorry, I'm vehicularly illiterate.

In the back of each light there is a ring with a wire harness running through the middle of it. The ring will turn and slide off of the housing. Pull the ring, harness and bulb straight back, and the bulb will come out. You will most likely have to put the ring on the HID bulbs then reinstall the HID bulbs into the headlight assembly.

After you get the new HID bulbs in the headlight, you just have to mount the ballast and connect the wires. Sence the kit is plug-n-play, the harness that came out of the headlight should plug right into a harness coming out of the ballast. Then you will need run a power and ground for each ballast.
