6.0 Trans Cooler

I want to put an auxillary trans cooler for peace of mind and towing a 22ft
toy hauler. The local tranny shop has an auxillary cooler he mounts in addition to the stocker. Says the stocker dosent cool well because of location and size.
Says the one he sells will lower temp about 25-30 degrees. Oh he wants about $285 installed.

Question for guys who have tried the 6.0. Where do you mount it and how much will it lower the transmission temps ? Is the 6.0 cooler the better way to go?
Can a kitchen remodeler install it?
Thanks

It replaces the factory but its significantly larger. It dropped me at least 40 deg. With a trailer now I'm right at about 70 deg over the outside temp.

And short of removing the grill
You have to remove the grill to install the 6.0L cooler.

6.0 trans cooler is the only way to go. Not difficult to install. Pulling the grille is a 5 minute job.

You won't see that much of a lower baseline because the valve will keep the trans at certain min temps but on the high end, you won't reach it as easily.
