xtrford is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I got a kick out of the "future losses" part of the counter sue by Navistar.

Is there a law saying Ford can not R & D their own engine while under contract with Cornbinder? Speaking of contract... contracts come to an end. The vendor isn't guaranteed a renewal of that contract. Therefore a company (Ford) can either create a market for vendors to bid on, or take the project on themselves. Ford is forced to defend itself for planning ahead. If Navistar could have developed a reliable unit to replace the 7.3, Ford wouldn't need to look elsewhere. Maybe I'm way off, but I felt the need. Ford needs to find another engine maker. Navistar is just a bad brand. I have worked on International engines for years, and in many different trucks. I can tell you that their engines were the weakest of the diesel engines used in OTR tractors.

Cat is not interisted. Unless you are talking about a cat for chasing mice or something. In that case, the cat might be interisted. How much does a UAW cat get paid?

I kinda like the Idea of a Ford with a Detroit under the hood. Just has a nice ring to it.

I don't.........not sure of the current situation concerning musical owners but Detroit has always meant GM to me.

Pretty sure the 6.2/6.5 junk were considered Detroit Diesels.
