engine swap steps
Hi folks, I'm totally new to ford Van's
my van is a 1994 E250 4.9 L6 , C6 transmission.
The engine blew, and I've got a replacement ready to go in.
I got the radiator out and disconnected the front grill and some hoses but i wanted to ask for some hints before i start pulling.
It looks like I can get the engine out through the front, but it also looks very close clearance wise, any suggestions there?
How do you guys get your motor's out when you swap?
Are there any online tutorials for a ford van engine swap?

Thanks for the reply bob. Leaving the tranny in, as it was running find pre-grenade.
to take it out the front I think i can just barely squeeze the hoist in above the valve cover, then just barely clear the lower frame cross member, and then again just squeeze by the front cross member.
i'd love to hear some more ideas or tricks if there are any out there.
google sucks anymore! all add's and not nearly as much forum results.
