Wow, learn something every day. I guess that could explain why a 4" bore is so common (give or take). I think mazda currently uses 3 plugs per chamber on their rotaries, which has a very long and narrow chamber.

Mazda only use two spark plugs in its Rotaries (even the Renesis).
They DID use 3 spark plugs in the 26B fitted to the 787B Le Mans contender... but only a handful of those engines were built.
They do use a special plug though for the Renesis... with a micro-electrode.
In back to back dyno tests - we tried 3 spark plugs on a 13b with no discernable improvements.

ok - I am getting off-topic, sorry.
Ahh the 26B, the engine that got rotaries banned from Le Mans. They were just too fast, too light, and didn't burn enough fuel (or wear out as quickly). Diesels will likely get banned too. Man, if I could get my hands on one of those monsters .
Yeah, way off topic.....
Does anyone know what sort of HP or Tq numbers the 6.2 aiming for?
