Question Need 300I6 pushrod guide plates

I am going with screw-in rocker studs and would like to use guide plates also. 1966 300 six. What will work for guide plates?? Thanks in advance.

Try Summit Racing or CSK or PAW and do a search for guide plate kits.

The way the pushrod holes are machined in the ford heads that slotted kind of a deal with close tolerance on the rod do you really think you need them?

I think the guide plates are only required if changing a pedestal rocker mount head to a screw in stud head.

guide plate, extra info

Some of my rocker studs have grooves worn in the side of them. That tells me the pushrod holes are not lined up with the rockers. So I want to go to screw in studs and guide plates to correct. Bob

I know I'm dredging up an old thread here but does anyone have photos or process shots of this particular modification? I'm converting to roller rockers in a 300 and am just looking for as much information as I can get. Crane part numbers might be helpful as well if anyone knows. Thanks
