We have reserved 20 rooms, 10 non-smoking, 9 smoking and 1 handicapped for Cliff. The rate is $79.00 a night and the dates are June 22 nd -- June 24th. The address is Ramada Inn, 196 Paint Town Road, Cherokee. Phone number is 1-800-849-5263 or 1-828-497-4231. The 800 number is directly to the Ramada Inn in Cherokee.
Anyone interested in going needs to contact them and mention you are with FTE and pay for you room.
Ok here is another update. If we DO NOT Have 10 rooms committed by Mothers Day 5-13-07 then Cherokee will be cancelled. I have no choice in doing this since I have to sign a contract for 20 rooms and cannot be financially responsible for 10 or more rooms.
OTR - Count me in for one (smoking) room, 22/23. May bring the 'mascot' vehicle, or daughters van. How many trophies to bring / which events ? Will pay/reserve at a local Ramada next weekend. ?? Potluck on Sat. eve ?? That banner was a brilliant idea, need some para-cord to string it between trucks like we did last time ? Hope to have a bigger turnout.
