True, but I guess you are going to need the 4:10's and above to compare to the 400 ft/lbs tq and gear ratio currently in the Tundra.

True again, but the whole point is upgrading to bigger brakes to match the Tundra. You can upgrade the brakes on any make of truck.

Yes and we all know coming from you this must be true. Can you please explain how a truck with less tq and hp can out tow one with more of both?

Ah yes, we all know the NEXT F-150 will have a 6 speed. But we are talking about now, not 2 years down the road. Once again, chalk the win to the Tundra with the 6 speed.

I see, the old double standard. Your "beast" is rated for what.....200 pounds but apparently, according to your claims, you can haul 11000 pounds. Let me do the math, your right! With your logic ( if that's what it's called ) the Tundra should be able to carry 121,000 lbs! I also have my doughts.

Once again your right! Toyota won't reach their goal of 200,000 because they more than likely sell more.

Brakes will be bigger on the next F-150 im sure, nothing wrong with the current brakes, outside of brake judder...17,000 miles, 4 sets of rotors. It's's not hard to upgrade, less torque, still out hauls, tows better than the Tundra. Uh huh, yeah right. How do you know that? 4 speed tranny is proven to be a warranty nightmare since day one. It's proven all right! Next F-150 will have a 6 Speed. Tundra has a 6 speed now. Tundra rated for 2200 I doubt it could carry any more than that. I'll bet if you owned one, it would!! Still only seen 3 Tundras, driving down the road, and that was ages ago. Ages ago? 2007 Tundras have been on the market 3 months. Toyota wont reach there goal of 200,000 this year.
Delays with production caused Toyota to revamp their sales goals for 2007. The goal is now 150,000 for 2007, 200,000 for 2008.

If I wanted a Tundra, there would be nothing stopping me from buying one. But as I stated in several posts, it's too small for me, and it's ugly.

I have a 2004 Lariat Screw, bought it new, the brakes are dogmeat. Outside of that, it's fine.

Since you continue to post false and misleading information, you will be corrected. Do a little research before you post your comments.

Haven't you read all the comments here about the TWO different tests?

There were two crash tests. The first was done by NHTSA, which rated it 4 stars, and an entirely different test conducted by IIHS, which rated it as 5. The second test is conducted at faster speeds.

I think any sort of researched information from our friend would be alittle on the hazy side, knowing who is posting it. I would just be happy to be able to read 2 consectutive sentences with some attempt at spelling. I can see missing a key here and there but......

Just an offtopic question here, how is that Titan treating you? Happy with it so far?

So the F-150 would get 6 stars? Is that possible?

What "can't" the F-150 do better than any other truck? Seeing your so sure of yourself.

You do understand (doubtful) that YOUR truck ('97-'04 heritage model) had the lowest crash test rating among pick ups???

Does that make your frame weak??

Does that at all bother you???

Are you going to keep driving it now??

Did you take your meds today??

Dont even bother arguing with Toyota hippies. It's just as bad as taking sides with Jane Fonda.

So Ford has a weak frame and we shouldn't care, but toyota has a bad test score and its a worthless truck?

right.

And maybe I fibbed a little, it was A LOT of air. But, it bent the frame enough to set off the airbags and I had to have one of my front quarter panels realigned. Never did track straight after that..
