Just another thing to blame on Dan...

The wife is making me hang a new front door.

How is this Dan's fault?

Well, he made it look failry easy (in her eyes anyways) when he hung my back door.

"Dan didn't seem to have a problem doing it"

How is this Ford Truck related?

Well, I was going to pull the wishbone frontend out of the '36 today...

Hey, but the door is almost done, just need more screws.

Dan is great to have around. He limits our self accountability. I just hope he doesn't start posting more pictures of spiders.

Did you find the big one I chased around in your shop? It was over on the back side of that big wooden block to the left of your welder...big sucker, too...

Good luck with the door. Let me know if you need me to come down and fix it for you after it's done...

I think I know where your problem lies. It is clear to me that at some point in your past you performed some reasonably competent home repairs. If you royally screwed it up every time you picked up a hammer or nail, you would no longer be asked. You could have devoted your time to the '36.

Don't blame Dan for everything. Just global warming.

I guess that would explain why the window is at the bottom.

Gotta get me one of them "Home Repair for Dummies" books.

Then again, maybe the wife will just quit asking me to do thing...

Placing the window at the bottom makes it easy to add a "dogie door". Just remove the glass.

btw, your repair will only last a few days if you don't also add some grill-work - those metal scrolls that keep your kids and dogs from pushing out the screen.

If you are going to use it as a sig, it should be grammatically correct. It should read:

"Don't blame Dan for everything, just global warming."

Everything after the period was a sentence fragment and should have been used as a modifier. Or so my junior high english teach would have said.

I'm only assuming that it would have been my Junior High ainglish teacher. That is when they tend to focus on such stuff. As for me, I'm struggling to remember a bunch of stuff that is 30+ years more recent than that.

I see everyone is still blaming Dan the Minstrel man for all their problems. Life is good.
