-Pair of overloads off my 1978 F250. Cleaned and painted, was going to use them as cheap anti-wraps on the front, but have gone a different direction. Covered in wax, with leaf spring bolts.

-460 car oil pan.

-7 "Cobra Jet" connecting rods (football shaped rod bolts). Pistons still on them, slight powder rust starting on a few of them.

-460 car oil pump, worked when removed.

-Dana 44 outer axle shaft, TTB.

I'm ready to toss all this stuff, you got a week or it's going in the trash I ran it through Craigslist once to try and get a buck back on it, but now I need the room more than the $$

I also have some BW1345 Tcase parts, a BW1345 Tcase and Windsor 4x4 C6. . .not quite ready to toss those. If you need them, lets talk (cheap)

That got me thinking, one of the cases with a ring gaer on it would make a nice silt bottom boat anchor since I lost the last one. . .

 

Yep, alternative uses are cool.....con rods make great steering column mounts. I used a large connecting rod for a tachometer mount in my '34. I'm not in town, but I would like to score a few of those connecting rods for "future" projects. Here is the con rod I modified:

I wasn't all that happy, especially when I saw how slow my tires were spinning, so I am re-gearing back to either 4.10's or 3.73's. Haven't decided yet. I'll get it straight before the next run though!!!

n00b question: Don't you have a manual valve body in that truck? Why not just upshift into 2nd or 3rd if you need to?
