Coil Spring Buckets

I was wondering if i cut the coil spring buckets off the frame of my 96 150 4x4 and move them down like 3 inches would it hurt anything? i got 3/4 ton leafs on my truck and its a got a really bad rake to it i was just trying to level it out some.

It will raise the truck alright, but it will change the camber on the front tires and cause all kinds of problems. What you need to do is get a lift kit that will raise the front the desired amount. No other way to do it.

Like stated above your going to have a whole lot of headaches trying to get everything lined back up. When about 100$ will get you new springs/C-bushings(2 inch lift). but it all depends on how much you need to lift the front to lvl it out. If you go bigger than 2 inchs than other things mmight be needed.
