theres some nice looking mud pits on the side of 309 right before reliance road if youre heading toward quakertown. i talked to some people and they said all that land is owned by some jeep club. went down and checked it out, but its all gated off. anyone know the area im talking about?
I know where your talking about, but I have no idea who owns it. It may be worth asking who owns it at one of the businesses that back it, like BFI, Plasterer Equipment, or Farm and Home Oil. There may be a few more that back to it also. That may be a good starting point though. One of them has to know who owns it. I havn't seen a truck in there for quite some time though, I wouldn't go in until you have WRITTEN permission, though. That way they can't try to screw you, If you can get in give me a yell on here, and we'll go hit some trails!
i definatley will try that next time im up that way. and when im heading up, ill post it here so maybe we can meet up. im always looking for new places and people to wheel with. all my friends are sissys and as soon as their truck gets stuck, they vow to never see mud again.
alright, were gettin a crew together! id like to try to go wheeling this saturday or sunday if anyones interested. a buddy of mine told me about a freind of his that lives on the corner of 152 and Upper State Road in the Chalfont area. apparently he owns like 50 acres and they wheel their trucks on it all the time. i just have to go to the guys house and ask him about it, which is going to be pretty awkward, since i have never met the man in my life. but anyway, if i get it hooked up, ill let you guys know. or if you have any spots in mind id love to hear about em. later.
I'm not quite ready yet. I don't want to wheel my truck, and my Jeep engine is in process of being rebuilt, I got cam and crank in so far, still waiting on my ring compressor from Matco, and new oil pump screen from machine shop. Would like to have her together this weekend, but then I'm still waiting on getting a stronger trans, hopefully by this weekend also. I'm probably still a month out on having it ready to run. Still need frame patch and pinion bearings once it's running.
