Anybody around the Pittsburgh area.
If any of you guys live around the pittsburgh area with a 92-96 ford regcab shortbed 4x4? I have to get a Reconstructed title done on my truck and it wont pass the new R title test due to the fact that it has 9inches of lift and tinted windows. I mean the truck is fine other than that, but when you get the r title inspection done the garage has to send pictures of the vehicle to harrisburg for them to see that its roadworthy and safe and such. So i was wondering if ne of you guys would be willing to help me out?

I see your got you lift. I just post you on the F150 site to post here. I went through this 2 years ago . Had to put stock suspension and tires back on to get title . Then was hassled about lift every inspection . Got to the point I just downsized to 4" (seemed to not bother inspections as much) and was done with it.
As for the windows it dosn't take long to swap out for clear one for the first picture and inspections. And with amount of rust buckets around you should find glass cheap( or borrow it). But good luck

I gotta agree with lostin90s. Swap the glass out, pull the lift and tires just to get the title.I just took (and passed) the test for enhanced vehicle inspections. Penndot claims it's designed to improve safety and cut down on fraud. It's just another cash cow. They came up with the enhanced test to give shops a way out of doing reconstructed and specially constructed vehicles. If they don't have any inspection mechanics qualified under the new rules then they can legally refuse to do it.Under the old system any inspection station you took it to had to do it or risk having the shop's license pulled.
