Water leak
I know that there have been a lot of posts on leaks at the rear of the cab from the slider and brake light. Never seen one on the front of the cab.
I can't find where the hell it is coming from. Truck never involed in an accedent and just started to leak this winter. Wet on both sides of the cab and only under the floor mats 04 F150 FX4 extended cab.

Does it only get wet when it rains outside? If not, I don't suppose the condensate drain from the AC is plugged or kinked? Unlikely since you said it happened in winter - but stranger things have happened. Does the water smell at all? Possibly antifreeze from a leaky heater core. Have you done any wiring and/or add-ons? Might check for any loose groments under the dash. (I once had an inch of water in my car floorboard after a night of rain because a small 1" groment got bumped loose when I pushed a wire through)

Had the same exact problem with my Scab. Ended up being the seals on the bottom of the plastic door sill plate. Pull them up to see if your wire harness is submerged in water. This is what happens when you have a poor design for securing the sill plates and wet roads. I used RTV to reseal the rubber grommets on the plastic tabs on the bottom of the door sill plate. Hope this helps.

water leak update
Well, I check everthing you guys suggested. A/C line not plugged or disconnected, no water or signs of water under the door sills and no open holes under the carpet. I had it all dried out last night, light rain last night and this morning lo and behold damp under the OEM rubber floor mats on both sides.
It is not a puddle but they are wet.
Any more suggestions.

My 06 Screw had 3 seperate water leaks in the front. 1. windshield not sealed 2. Body seam between cowling and pass. side kick panel not sealed 3. Large grommet behind electrical power distribution panel in pass. side kick panel not selaed. Your leak may be in one or more of these areas. Good luck.

water was entering the white door connectors through the metal clip slot (only visible if you unmate the connectors) and leak down getting the carpet wet. these connectors can be seen on the pillars near the check link. follow the rubber grommet from the door to the pillar. if your truck was built before august 2004 rubber plugs were not in the back of the connectors clip slot. in august 2004 they added these plugs.

i tried to edit my comment above and im not able to do so for some reason. what i meant to say was....
EARLY ON WHEN THE NEW F150 CAME OUT water was entering the white door connectors through the metal clip slot (only visible if you unmate the connectors) and leaking down getting the carpet wet. these connectors can be seen on the pillars near the check link. follow the rubber grommet from the door to the pillar. if your truck was built before august 2004 rubber plugs were not in the back of the connectors clip slot THUS ALLOWING THE WATER TO GET INTO THE CAB. in august 2004 they added these plugs.
