I have a '83 Bronco with the 351 windsor and I'm going to put 33x12.50 tires on it. What do I need to upgrade? I'm planning on putting a 3" body lift on it. Unless a 2" would work? I have the double shifters on the floor. How bad is it to length them? I know I'll need to put different gears in put do I need to do that right away, or can I wait and do it later since its not my daily driver. What axles are in the 83? I believe they are Dana 44s up front and Ford 9" out back. Is this correct? How bad is it to change gears? I know this is a lot of questions, But I would like to have some help with this.
Thanks

I believe the F-150 and Bronco had the 9" through '86. Unless you're very mechanical, ring&pinion replacement is a job for the pros. It requires a precise preload adjustmnent to avoid 'howling' and premature wear. The 33s will rub bad at stock body/suspension height.
