$2500 What to Do????
Ok the problem is i want a bike for this amount and have also thought of spending this much on my truck first of all the over view: 1974 f150 4" skyjacker, 3" body lift, 37" xterrain tires, 17" incubus rims, 3.50 gears, Dana 44, Ford 9 inch, Dual exhaust with glass packs, flowtech headers, rebuilt in august of 06 FE360 .30 over, eveything else stock, truck is in primer. Ideas: manifold, carb, clear tailight and sidemarkers, spare rim and tire, rock sliders, new axles, bigger gears, tow ropes.
so wondering if you had this truck where would you spend $2500 for the truck.

Half my truck is primer, and my last rig was all primer. Nothing wrong with it (gives that look that it's a project, and you're going to finish it someday...)
Replace the gears, intake, all the other stuff you listed, a spare rim and tire are always good to have (you will need it someday). Add tow points if you don't already have them, hell, with that much you could add a winch and either a brush guard or a full winch bumper. Plenty of options.
For tow straps check ebay, I grabbed a couple of really good ones on there for CHEAP.
I do agree with a shift kit if it's an auto...

ok first of all, a 360 is not a good set up for a blower. i mean hell ya that would be fricken sweet but no not with this motor, carb, intake and gears is a good idea. helll ya to all of us out there running primered trucks. three out of the five 70's fords are primered and get that sticker made and send me one. and hey why get rid of the wheels and the lift, yes i have heard bad things about the body lift but hey push it till something breaks. and the wheels? it is a four speed and what the hell is a gear splitter. no clue. does transflow have the 38 gallon tank in the factory set up? so ya i need tow points. my front bumper doesnt fit because of the body lift so i weld a peice of u-shaped 1 inch bar stock to the front crossmember and am going to gussest it for now have complete plans for a front bumper. last estimate was 1800 for the bumper to be made. thanks and fill me in

Power is only good if you can get it to the ground. That $2500.00 is a pretty good chunk of change. It could be very well used by installing gears and lockers while it is all apart. Nise big old u-joints wouldn't hurt either, Making it stronger, and more reliable is sometimes more usefull than making more power.
How much more power are you going to gain by adding an intake? Is it that important, and will you actually see a benifit? A set of gears, and the traction devices will give you night, and day differences.

go to broncograveyard.com and look up the ranger torque splitter. Turn your 4 speed in to an 8-speed!
I also noticed transfer flow has 38-gallon replacement tanks. You'll need to move the spare, but I like the idea of getting gas where it's cheap.
I think the body lifts look ugly, just my opinion. If you like it keep it. I hate big rims too, so who knows what my taste is worth.
