Ok so I'm gonna build up a 6.9L and put it in a 1980 F-350, now the question i have is there anyone out there that can help me with the motor mounts, I know they will need some fabrication to get the motor to bold to the frame so is there anyone who can help me out with some diagrams or tell me what to do to make some from there own personal experience, thanks Mike.

 

Someone just put a diesel in I think it was a 78.

I can not remember who it was right now though.

You 80 frame should be like an 83 up through a 97. The plates that bolt to the frame that have the slots for the mounts that are on your engine should be easy to get. If you can't find any locally let me know. I have a couple of frames laying around so I can hook you up with that.
