TIRE QUESTIONS??
Hey Broncos out there....
I got a simple question for you guys, since I am not an expert on lots of these issues.BUT I LOVE MY 94 XLT blacked out BRONCO.
I am about to get new tires and I need advice on which brand and style to get. I got Pirelli Scorpion ATs 31x10.5 15 on there right now and they have about 42,000 miles on them, mostly(85%)pavement usage.
I just got some mountain property(red shale roads)and I was wondering if I should get some MTs, even though I will still be doing plenty of highway/street driving as well.Or get ATs again? And then of course which brand to go with. I have seen everything from BFs to Hankooks to Lees out there.
Anyway sorry to be bustin'out(just joined), with such a LAMO question and topic, but I am a newbie and LOVE MY BRONCO.
THANX GUYS

TIRE QUESTIONS??
I used to have those tires also. They were great but i wanted to get medders, and move up to 35" tires. The mud tires are not nearly as smooth as an all terrain. The only time i have ever REALLY needed the BFG MT's is when I am in the mud. The BFG AT's are really smooth and not too loud. Unless your driving in the dirt and mud every day, like the thick messy mud there is no need for the mud terrains. I recommend the BF Goodrich line they make great tires and aren't too expensive. My second choice is the Good Year line although they are loud as hell, the mud tires are, their ATS line is a great alternative.
