Well he must obviously have a hypertech chip or something to be making all that horsepower and torque!!!! I see the chip will bring his horsepower from 168hp @ 4500 rpms stock to 173 hp @ 4500 rpms and his torque from 216 ft-lbs @ 3250 rpm all the way to 226 ft-lbs @ 3250 rpms !!!! Dang that sure makes the new trucks like the tundra and titan look wimpy. They are only putting down 321 hp (tundra) and 291 hp (titan) stock to the rear wheels!!! I guess ford v6 horsepower is underrated by half just as their payload ratings ( or at least this one truck in particular )

Ok, it's time for someone to step up and get this thread back on topic......

GENTLEMEN STAY ON TOPIC

I just went back to the original post and realized there is no topic and that it's pretty much a pointless, yet very entertaining thread.

My bad...

come on guys whats so hard to believe here, I mean a measly 8000lbs, heck I towed almost 80,000 with my old 95 F150 with a 300I6 and 5spd

Of coarse that was only for about 60 feet to help a semi that was stuck on a very light upgrade on ice.

Ok guys lets solve this mistery once for all. After being 3 full nights praying, finally the lord gave me the interpretation for this thead! "That sounds right. when i towed my 1994 Home I realized a few days ago that the trailer in my galiery wheighs 1700lbs" What he tried to say here was. (FEW DAYS AGO WHILE AT HOME, I WAS REALIZING WHEN I TOWED MY 1994 TRUCK {WISH MAY WEIGH 4000 LBS} WITH THE TRAILER IN THE GALLERY{WISH MAY WEIGH 1700 LBS} IN THE WINTER.{THAT WILL GIVE US A TOTAL WEIGH OF 5700 LBS} PLUS THE 2 CINDER BLOCKS, CHAINS, AND FEW OTHER THINGS LAYED IN THE BED, I EASILY HAD AROUND 7000 LBS. I WAS IMPRESED THE WAY IT PULL IT. SO IF I NEEDED TO PULL 8000 LBS, I COULD SIMPLE AND PLAIN. Hope this help to solve the mistery.

FTEeeeville
(sung to the tune of Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffet)

Nibblin' on sponge cake,
watchin' the sun bake;
All us Users loving this toil
Strummin' my key board, because I am so bored.
The sight of a thread that’s beginnin' to boil.

Wasted away again in FTEeeeville,
Searchin' for that lost time of the day.
Some people claim that there's a User to blame,
But I know, it's nobody's fault.

Don't know the reason,
Shoulda played another baseball season.
With nothing to show but a thread that’s turned into dog doo.
But it's a real beauty,
I’ll probably get the boot, just see.
How it went down hill
I haven't a clue.

Wasted away again in FTEeeeville,
Searchin' for a thread in the archive vault.
Some people claim that there's a User to blame,
Now I think, - hell it could be my fault.

I blew out my lap top,
Stopped at the computer shop,
Wrecked my truck, had to hitchhike back home.
But my desktop is better,
And soon it will render
That stimulating dialog that helps me hang on.

Yes, and some people claim that there's a User to blame,
