buffalobob is starting off with a positive reputation.
2000 F-250 SD - how to remove front hubs - and get to bearings?

not the locking hubs....I want to remove the hubs that house the wheel bearings - and see the spindles...

I was surprised when I removed the locking hubs and its totally different than the older trucks...with the locking hub removed - I expected the usual lock nut and bearing nut that requires the special socket....all I found was a couple washers and a snap ring...after removing the snap ring _ im up a tree on how to get to the bearings and strip it down to the spindle....

any help appreciated

bczolone is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
Don't know if this helps but his site has a lot of SD stuff...if this isn't it check the home page and look for a possible match
