1990 F150 AOD to C6

I am finally swapping out my tired 302EFI for a 351W. This is a 4x4 and the AOD tranny seems tired, although performs ok just slow on the down shifts. That could be the 7 cylinder 302 not having the correct vacuum also. My question is will a C6 bolt up in place of the AOD? If it was not a 4x4 it would be simple. Also what flexplate would I need for the C6 with the 351W? I know that if I stay with the AOD I need a 28oz. Options??
