ok so i need some help fast if any of you can. my finaces 96 cavalier broke down and it has 3/4 of a tank of gas in it. my truck runs great but is almost of out gas.
no i'm out of money till i get my check tomorrow afternoon and need to get to work in the moring. how do i siphon the gas out of her car? i think it has one of those anti siphon things cuz when i put the hose in i'm not touching gas, but it is hitting something. any ideas?
i think i'm gonna have to ask someone for a couple bucks but i really hate doin that. can someone help me please??
Disconnect a fuel line, (at the fuel filter for example) put a bucket under the line, and turn the key so the fuel pump engages. Seems to me this would work (in theory). SOmeone correct me if Im wrong.
the battery and alternator are absolutely no good at all, when i tryed turnin the car over nothing came on at all, so i don't think the fuel pump would kick on either
park your truck in front of the car. Jump her battery, not to start it but to just get the fuel pump to come on. Pump the fuel into a suitable gas container and then into your truck.
the gas is not the prob it is the vapors from the gas. but in the small amount u get you would have to do it 5-10 times a day my father is a doctor and that is what he told me and some guys from his work were saying so i would have to take there word on it.
