Old blue will be down a few days.

I swapped a 3.70 third member in to replace the 3.00-1. Gonna get new axle shaft bearings and seals in the morning as well as the parts to rebuild rear breaking system. My next project will be putting in a floorshifter so I don't get hung in first gear anymore. I may as well tackle the timing chain while I am at it cause it is a little slack. Nothing has broke down just doing some upgrades as well as grabbing a few things before they become a problem. With the way I am about to work her she has to be in tiptop condition.

Yeah gonna be busy. The gear upgrade is for pulling the trailer but I still can't wait to see what it does for takeoff.

Tried truck today. Thing takes off alot better. I pushed skinny pedal half as much backing out of driveway and all I done was dug holes in tightly packed crusher run. Still gets great highway traction though. Rides alot smoother. I gotta bleed brakes when I get an assistant but all else is well. I have not upgraded shifter or put on new timing chain yet saving that for a later.

I finally replaced timing set today. Still waiting on the floor shifter. Brakes are working well and rear gears are awesome. Stopped real well when I pulled 5600 pounds with no trailer brakes a few days ago. Did not seem to know it was back there due to the gear swap either. Still got some things I gotta work out but so far its going great.
