Unhappy A bomb at the Iola KS Wal-Mart

My roommate and I are sitting here watching TV when another associate calls us on the motel phone.. He informs us that there has been a bomb threat called into the store. The motel is only 2 blocks away from the store. They have the whole highway shut off and there are cops EVERYWHERE. Later he tells us they are all in lockdown, both the new and old store as the new one is only about a block away. Later there is a helicopter flown in and when we got to look they are bringing out the bomb sniffing dogs. A few minutes later, he said a friend had heard on the scanner that they had found a bomb in a car. So far that is the last that I have heard. I don't know if it was an associate or customer car. I'm just so thankful that I didn't have to close. I would have been the only management at the old store. I'll update when I get more info.

They had taken all the associates to a different location so they could get a ride home. They had to leave their cars so they could be checked. Apparently they didn't find anything but it is still freaky. I have to close by myself tomorrow. YEA This all happened about 8:00 pm But they said they had a girl come through a line at the store about 1-3pm and asked if there was a bomb threat going on. DUH Hopefully that will be the key to catch the jerk.

That's weird and eerie. Glad to hear no one was hurt. You never know nowadays. There's so many wackos out there.
