Being downwind of the big fire here in S.E. GA. is a bad thing. Smoke and ash starting to get to me. I am just glad all I have to live with right now is the smoke and ash. Got another fire due west now on the other side of the Okefenokee swamp. These fire fighters, GA forestry, and law enforcement men and women are working hard to try and keep peoples homes and land protected. Everyone keep the folks having to deal with the fire in mind when talking with the man up stairs.
It has been pretty clear the past couple of days. We will see what the weather does today and this weekend, supposed to have the winds pick back up. I have plenty of relatives up in Macon so I have a place to go if need be.
We have been lucky in not dealing with the smoke...But forecasters are saying we'll get some tonight and in the morning...Just a peice of evidence that those boys, and gals are doing the best they can over there in the southeast side...prayers go out to them!
